An Open Letter to the People of Tennessee's Third District
Dear Friends,
I am so very grateful for the privilege of public service and the honor to be a U.S. Representative for the good people of East Tennessee.
Your vote of confidence in my service is an inspiration to my family and my dedicated staff who work so hard to earn your trust and make you proud.
There is much yet to do here in the Tennessee Valley and many challenges across America and around the globe. With ten years of experience, the knowledge to make a difference and plenty of energy to burn on your behalf, I am ready to return my "shoulder to the wheel" and push for a secure homeland, stability around the world, energy independence, a healthier America and tax reform from the bottom up.
Thank you for being responsible and involved citizens. We are here on this planet to serve God and our fellow man. As you have challenged me to go forward, I challenge you to "love your neighbor as yourself" and engage in "random acts of kindness." We cannot out-give God or each other.
